About This Place

Nestled in the heart of downtown Las Vegas at 8 Fremont Street, Saginaw's Delicatessen offers an authentic taste of classic American deli fare that feels both comforting and exquisitely crafted. This vibrant eatery is beloved for its wide-ranging menu that celebrates the rich flavors of traditional Jewish-American cuisine alongside hearty American favorites, making it an irresistible destination for breakfast, lunch, and late-night cravings alike.

Step inside Saginaw's and you’re greeted not just by friendly faces behind the register—regular diners often mention the warm hospitality—but by the inviting aroma of freshly prepared dishes that summon memories of home-cooked meals. From the moment you taste the Ben Sherman's Corned Beef & Pastrami—a delicate balance of smoky, tender brisket layered lovingly on rye—to the savory depth of the Royal Flush Reuben, every bite bursts with character and tradition.

The deli excels at soups that comfort the soul: the Chicken Matzo Ball Soup is a standout, with light, fluffy matzo balls swimming in a delicately seasoned chicken broth, evoking the kind of nurturing warmth only "bubbe’s" kitchen can inspire. Fans of seafood will appreciate the generous baby clams in the classic New England Clam Chowder, simmered with potatoes and aromatic vegetables, while the Chicken Noodle Soup layers roasted hand-pulled chicken with fresh garden vegetables, offering a homey reprieve any time of day.

Breakfast at Saginaw's is a celebration of bold flavors and comforting staples—from Zoey's VegOMatic omelette, rich with Swiss cheese and housemade pesto, to Nate & Sally's French Toast, which perfectly balances sweet and savory notes. The care evident in every dish, like the perfectly poached eggs Benedict praised by delighted guests, speaks to the kitchen’s attention to detail and passion for quality.

For dinner, the menu transforms with standout items like the Old Vegas Scampi, where succulent shrimp meet a zesty, scratchmade sauce with fresh lemon and wine, beautifully paired with angel hair pasta and freshly toasted garlic bread. The Sam's Steak Dinner, featuring a tender strip loin topped with a signature garlic spread, complements the deli’s casual yet refined vibe.

Patrons often return for the Matzoh Ball Soup, described as “life-changing” by repeat visitors who have made multiple trips just to savor its nostalgic comfort. The Eve's Heavenly Latkes offer a crispy, golden texture that pairs perfectly with sour cream or applesauce, providing a delightful contrast to creamy coleslaw and crispy onion rings. Even the sides, like house-made potato chips served alongside the robust pastrami and corned beef sandwiches, add an extra layer of satisfaction to each meal.

Whether you're enjoying a relaxed breakfast before exploring downtown or indulging in a hearty, late-night meal after a show, Saginaw's Delicatessen cultivates a cozy ambiance that makes every visit feel special. The friendly, efficient service enhances the welcoming atmosphere, making you feel like a regular even on your first visit.

From the thoughtful seasoning in the hollandaise sauce to the richness of Rosie's Meatloaf and the satisfying crunch of Freida's Fish & Chips, Saginaw's Delicatessen in Las Vegas is not just a restaurant—it’s an experience that connects you to classic American deli charm with every mouthwatering bite.

Visited for breakfast on 11/23. The lady at the register was awesome and friendly. I ordered the eggs benedict and they were delicious. Possibly the most perfectly poached eggs ever. The hollandaise was excellent, it had a little bit of caraway in it which was really good, just enough for the flavor but not too much in any way. Nice relaxed environment for breakfast. Outstanding meal at the end of a completely awesome weekend. Will be back!

Matzoh ball soup is a must!! Came back 3 nights on my trip for the soup. Life changing. The latkes were also yummy, as was the garlic bread. Shrimp cocktail was a good portion with small shrimps not jumbo fyi but also good. Also tried the clam chowder and it was good but I had a better one at Triple George. I will say the wait for the soup was long, but worth it, maybe they had to make the matzo balls from scratch? It was delicious every time. All staff was nice and helpful.

Saginaw’s Delicatessen at Circa Resort delivers some of the best late-night and early-morning comfort food in downtown Las Vegas. We ate there multiple times—both by room service and by walking down—and quickly learned the in-person menu has the strongest options. The breakfast offerings were exceptional, and the fresh fruit cup became a daily must-have. We sampled a wide range of dishes. The Chicken Parmesan was the standout—easily one of our favorite versions of the dish anywhere. The tri-tip roast beef was silky, tender, and perfectly seasoned, even if the carrots felt a bit disconnected from the sauce. The meatloaf was well-prepared but simply not our preferred regional style, so your mileage may vary depending on what you grew up with. The latkes, salads, and overall sides were consistently fresh and satisfying. Service was quick and polite every time, though the takeout pickup system can be slightly confusing on your first visit. Still, for hearty, reliable meals at almost any hour, Saginaw’s is one of the best reasons to stay at Circa.

Last Wednesday, I had the pastrami and corned beef sandwich (minus the Russian sauce). Great food! The house made potato chips were great. The whole meal was fire! I wanted to eat at Saginaw’s again. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to. I will visit Saginaw’s Deli again, as I want to try more dishes from their menu. For my first time in Las Vegas, and my first meal in Las Vegas… I will forever cherish this experience. The retro style decor is very welcoming. There is some history framed on the walls. My experience at Saginaw’s took my mind to another time and place. The staff at Saginaw’s Deli were extremely helpful, and attentive. There were about 5-6 other tables, besides mine. From my observations, everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals. After sitting down at the table, I observed a waiter bring plates for the table across from me. I seen this huge pile of chips, they appear to be house-made. I hoped that those same chips came with my meal. Sure enough, they did. Best ever. I had been craving a pastrami sandwich, for months. That was something crazy. To randomly walk into a place, that has what you are looking for… that was a trip. I was also able to experience eating corned beef with pastrami. That was a first, for me. Saginaw’s Delicatessen is truly a gem, tucked away in the forever awesome Circa Resort & Casino. - M. Aundre [@M.Aundre]

After the BEYONCE concert I went in to have a bite to eat. All of the guy's were very friendly, nice and helpful! I ordered the Rosie's Meatloaf, wheat toast and a lemonade. The food was delicious and the service was excellent!

We came here for a late lunch. You pay before you sit, they give you a number, and you pick a place to sit. Food and drinks came out pretty quickly. Everything we had was great! Cool diner vibe, worth a meal!
